The Star the Twilight Saga Forgot

Stephanie Meyer put Forks, WA on the map in 2005 with the release of Twilight and the town of 3,500 became much more than a lumber community. Visitors flock (or run, pending vampire status) to the town annually to see the sites Bella Swan and her mythical friends call home.

True Twihards know that the camera brought the books to life in neighboring Oregon. And while Bella’s truck at the Forks Chamber of Commerce is Insta-worthy, the real star is the surrounding Olympic National Park. As the National Park Service centennial celebration kicks off on Wednesday, I’ve already found my park.
